Hongdae Street Art Exhibition

The alleys in Hongdae area are famous for its "street art" spirit, this originated from the well-known Hongik University Fine Arts department students
who started to paint walls and alleys near their school. Subsequently, more reknown artists join in and strengthen the reputation of the team and the area's art sense.
Hongdae Street Art Exhibition started since 1993, core targets are Hongdae art students, it's an annual event for them, but it has become a very representative
cultural and artistic activity in Hongdae area. Annually, it shows new street art, installation, art exhibition and a variety of performances to the audience.
Street art exhibition is an adventurous and experimental art activities which has an unique combination of touch and the enthusiasm of the young Korean artist.

弘大附近的街道以「街頭美術」聞名，起初源於知名美術大學弘益大學的學生在學校附近的牆壁和街道自由作畫，
其後眾多畫家的加入壯大了隊伍的實力和名聲。弘大「街頭美術展」自1993年以來，以弘大美術系學生為核心，
每年舉辦一次，已成為非常具有代表性的文化藝術活動。每年皆有新的街頭美術、裝置藝術作品展及各種表演與觀眾見面。
街頭美術展是接觸和瞭解韓國年輕畫家的熱情、冒險精神及實驗性的獨特綜合藝術活動。
